Gravel Driveway Repair

Gravel Driveway Repair done correctly will lower costs

Rustic wooden fence along gravel roadHere is a quick video we made showing how to properly do a gravel driveway repair.

With a step-by-step process we repair gravel driveways in a way that will give the driveway a longer useful life before it needs another repair.

First we use a specialized tool called a Harley Rake to break up the compacted gravel in and around the pothole. Simply filling the pothole with gravel will not last. The material put in the pothole will not bind with the compacted road and will end up bouncing out of the hole. By loosening the gravel around the pothole it allows the fill material to mix and bind together during compaction.

There are different factors that cause potholes such as improper base, improper grading, type of gravel, and vehicle speed. We can help you with not only repairing the potholes, but also improving the grading, applying proper gravel, and to repair or add proper drainage for the driveway.
